In this class students will learn the art of making comic strips and the significant difference how comic strips are created compared to comic books. Students and instructors will brainstorm ideas for stories and characters. They will then learn how storytelling, dialogue and why word balloons are so important when creating comic strips, followed by drafting their own pictures and plots. The final weeks will be drawing and coloring using mixed media on their final canvas panels, which will create a completed comic strip for them to take home, display and show off to their family and friends.

Classes will be Jan. 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th and Feb. 1st & 8th

There will be NO make-up classes unless The Art Hut closes due to inclement weather.
